LEGAL TAX NOTICE
TOWN OF COLEBROOK
Notice is hereby given to the taxpayers of the Town of Colebrook that the FIRST INSTALLMENT OF REAL ESTATE & PERSONAL PROPERTY TAXES AND MOTOR VEHICLE TAXES on the Grand List of October 1, 2019 are due and payable July 1, 2020. Payments must be received or postmarked by 8/3/2020 to avoid interest. Payments processed under the Deferral Program as offered by the Governor’s Executive Order 7S received after 8/3/2020 will be charged interest at the rate of 0.25% per month until 10/1/2020. Payments after 10/1/2020 will be charged interest of 1.5% for each month elapsing from the original due date of the delinquent tax to the date of payment, with a minimum charge of $2.00.
