News from Colebrook Town Hall

Greetings from Colebrook Town Hall.
Town Hall will be closed on Monday, May 26th, in observance of Memorial Day. Curbside trash and recycling pickup will be pushed back one day next week.
Last week, Pisgah Mountain Road was re-opened to motor vehicles and will remain open until seasonal closure next winter. The re-opening follows creation of a committee last fall to discuss best practices and next steps for management of this historic and scenic dirt road-and to protect it from heavy rainfall.
Earlier this spring, the Inland Wetlands Commission approved a Department of Public Works (DPW) application recommended by the committee to improve drainage through repair and replacement of five culverts-and creation of natural stone-lined swales. As part of this initiative, our DPW budget now includes a designated line item for maintenance of our approximately five miles of dirt roads in town.
